You can load maps to any program
that can read dwg/dxf file formats.
AutoCAD can read both dwg and dxf
file formats. The
The Kingdom Suite can
read dxf file format.

What format can I order? |

You can order
in AutoCAD (versions 2000, 2002,
2004), DXF file ormat (version R13,
R14, 2000, 2002, 2004), or just as a
plain text file. Or just let
us know we can customize it for your
needs.

I don't use AutoCAD, can you customize it for me? |

Yes, just let us know what
software you are using and what
format you need data in.

What coordinate system is the map in? |
| |
Maps can be converted into most
popular coordinate systems. When you
are ordering your maps, just tell us
what coordinate system you want your
maps in. Here are some of the most
used coordinate systems:
Latitude/Longitude (NAD 27, NAD 83
or WGS 84), UTM (NAD 27, NAD 83) or
State Plane Zone (NAD 27). If you
need any other coordinate system,
then just let us know when you are
ordering the maps.

What layers are included? |

Depending on the type of map you
order. If you order just well
location map, then each well type is
in its own layer, for example all
the oil wells will be on
wells_oil
layer. Please visit order
page for specific information.

How accurate is the data? |

Accuracy of our data is
depending on data ware houses that
we purchase them. Please refer to
their
disclaimer.

What is the resolution on these
maps? |
| |
Most of the maps are digitized from
1:24,000 scaled maps.

I am using Kingdom Suite. How can I
load well data map I downloaded from you? |

If you are using Kingdom
software, make sure that you let us
know before you order the base maps.
For kingdom users we send two files.
One is base map without well
information in dxf format, that can
be imported as culture data. Second
file is a text file with well
information which can be imported as
wells.

Can I download a free sample map to see how data is
displayed? |

Yes you can. We have couple of files on
download page on various formats
(AutoCAD/DXF) for you to download for free.
